Tech Concludes Day One of NCAA Women's Championships

THE FLATS – The Georgia Tech swim and dive program concluded the first day of competition at the NCAA Division I Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships.

Deniz Ertan competed in her first event of the championships, the women’s 500 freestyle. Ertan swam a time of 4:44.04 in the preliminaries, finishing in 39th place.

The freshman will continue competition tomorrow with the women’s 400 IM. Preliminaries will start at 10 a.m. followed by finals at 6 p.m.
