Tech Baseball Hosts Purdue on Tuesday and Wednesday

ATLANTA – Georgia Tech (9-9) hosts Purdue (3-6) for a two-game series on Tuesday and Wednesday at Russ Chandler Stadium. First pitch on both days is set for 4 p.m.

The Yellow Jackets will send a pair of freshman left-handers to the mound this week – Lee Hyde (0-1, 5.19 ERA) on Tuesday and Ryan Turner (1-1, 5.84) on Wednesday. The Boilermakers are expected to start LHP Brian Karpel (0-1, 1.54) on Tuesday and RHP Jesse Krause (0-0, 0.00).

Tickets for the games on Tuesday and Wednesday are available by calling the Georgia Tech Ticket Office at (888) TECH-TIX or online at the Georgia Tech Ticket Center.

Following the series with Purdue, the Yellow Jackets will travel to Winston-Salem, N.C., to face Wake Forest for a three-game Atlantic Coast Conference series this weekend.
