Swimming & Diving Announces 2013 Incoming Class

THE FLATS – Georgia Tech swimming & diving head coach Courtney Shealy Hart has announced the signing of 11 student-athletes during the early signing period, who will enroll at Tech and compete for the Yellow Jackets next season.

The incoming class includes seven swimmers and four divers.

“This is a talented class and one we’re excited that will help continue to build on the tradition of Georgia Tech swimming & diving, said Hart. “Our recruiting continues to get more aggressive and I credit my staff for seeking student-athletes who fit the mold both athletically and in the classroom.”

Tech’s incoming swimming class includes: Samantha Kase (Alpharetta, Ga./Chattahoochee), Alexandra Tracy (Cincinnati, Ohio/Indian Hill), Camille Felix (Hilton Head, S.C./Hilton Head Island), Maddie Paschal (LaGrange, Ga./LaGrange), Benjamin Southern (Falls Church, Va./McLean), Kevin Smith (Clearwater, Fla./East Lake), Declan Poorman (Warner Robins, Ga./Westfield School).

The diving class features: Bradley Homza (Austin, Texas/Westwood), Omar Eteiba (New Cairo, Egypt/ Modern Education American School), Andrea Demick (Atlanta/Marist School) and Madison Young (Trabuco Canyon, Calif./Crean Lutheran).
