As a Sophomore (2023): Played in 21 games, starting in 17 as designated player … Led the team with a .448 on-base percentage … Ranked third on the squad in batting average at .319 and slugging percentage at .553 … Totaled 15 hits, five doubles and two home runs for 10 RBI and seven runs scored … Drew 10 walks … Went 4-for-4 at the plate against Alabama State, setting a single game career high of four hits while blasting her first bomb of the season … In a 2-for-3 day, blasted her first career grand slam for a career-high tying four RBI in a 12-5 victory over North Carolina (April 29) … Strung together as high as a six-game streak of reaching base … Four multi-hit games.
As a Freshman (2022): Made 32 appearances on the season, including 24 starts in the outfield and four starts as designated player to wrap up the season … Batted .215 in her first year on The Flats, tallying 17 hits, four doubles and a dinger for 17 RBI, four runs scored and 24 total bases … Finished with a .304 slugging percentage and a .319 on-base percentage … Drew 11 walks … Also made an appearance in the circle and added nine putouts … Strung together six multi-hit games … Swatted a career-high two doubles for three RBI in an 8-5 victory over Saint Joseph’s (Feb. 12) … Collected four RBI, five total bases and blasted her first career home run all for career highs in her second collegiate game, resulting in a 2-for-3 day and a 5-2 win for the Jackets over Villanova (Feb. 11) … Totaled five multi-RBI games … Showed out in her final game of the season, going 2-for-4 for three RBI against Wisconsin in the Gainesville Regional (May 22) … Put together three multi-hit games in three of her first five collegiate games.
High School: Comes to Georgia Tech from Rock Springs, Ga. A two-time GADC Class A Player of the Year, Minghini also earned first team all-state and all-region honors in 2018 and 2019. During her time at Gordon Lee High School, Minghini threw over 500 strikeouts, finishing with a 0.81 ERA. The lefty was also a force at the plate, with a career .450 batting average while helping lead her squad to four Class A state championship titles. She also won an ASA/USA national championship with the Tennessee Mojo in 2018 and was named Chattanooga Time Free Press Best of Preps and Walker County Pitcher of the Year in 2019. Her intended major is biomedical engineering.
