Awards and Honors
As a Senior (2023): Appeared in 10 games, mostly as a pinch hitter … Totaled two RBI, a walk and was hit by a pitch for a .182 on-base percentage … Picked up an RBI after getting dinged against Alabama State (April 19) … Added another with a sac fly in an 8-1 romp of host Notre Dame in the first round of the ACC tournament (May 10) … Picked up a couple of putouts at first in a 7-0 win over Saint Francis (Feb. 12).
As a Junior (2022): Appeared in 37 games, starting in 21 as designated player and two at first base … Batted .181 on the season, coming away with 15 hits with a double and six home runs for 14 RBI, 13 runs scored and 34 total bases … Slugged .410 on the year with a .266 on-base percentage … Drew 10 walks … Tied for second on the squad in total home runs … Fifth on the team in slugging percentage … Also added 16 putouts and an assist in the field … Knocked her first career grand slam and one of Tech’s two on the season in an eight-run inning for a historic victory over Georgia (March 15) – a 12-3 triumph for the first run-rule triumph in the history of the series, the first win over the Bulldogs since 2012 and the first road win in Athens since 2007 … Her four RBI in the contest marked a career best … Went 3-for-3 with two solo home runs, two RBI and a double in a 10-0, mercy-rule victory over ETSU (Feb. 26) … Her three hits, two longballs, three runs scored and 10 total bases all set career single-game highs … Strung together two multi-hit games in the ETSU contest and a 2-for-3 outing with a home run, two RBI and a run scored at Mississippi State (Feb 19) … Finished with five multi-RBI games … Also knocked dingers in her lone pinch-hit appearance against Duke for a solo bomb (March 6) and again in a two-run shot against Louisville (March 18).
As a Sophomore (2021): Appeared in 20 games, making eight starts at DP … Posted a .171 batting average on six hits for a pair of RBI and a run scored … Finished with a .171 slugging percentage and a .286 on-base percentage … Picked up first hit of the season against Clemson (Feb. 21) … Added a hit in back-to-back appearances against Clemson (Feb. 21) and Miami (Ohio) (Feb. 26) and again twice against Pitt (March 13-14) … Perfect 1-for-1 as a pinch hitter in those games against Miami (Ohio) (Feb. 26) and Pitt (March 14).
As a Freshman (2020): (Season shortened due to COVID-19 pandemic) Appeared in 12 games with eight starts (three a 3B, five at DP) … finished the year leading the team with a .333 batting average … drove in six runs on seven hits in limited action during a shortened season … hit her first career home run, a go-ahead three-run shot, in Tech’s 3-2 win over Penn State (Feb. 29) … hit a walk-off RBI single in Tech’s 8-0 run-rule win over Iowa on Feb. 15, for her first collegiate hit.
High School: Right-handed infielder from Jackson County High School and a Native of Hoschton, Ga. … Lettered for four seasons in softball at Jackson County … Member of the undefeated 2017 region 8-AAA championship team … All-time record holder for career home runs, RBI and doubles at Jackson County.
