2019 (Redshirt Freshman): Made 11 appearances, including his first college start at defensive end in the home opener against South Florida (Sept. 7) … The Yellow Jackets’ top ball hawk, led the team with three fumble recoveries … Also finished with six tackles (five solo) on the season, including an 8-yard sack … Started the season by recovering a fumble (first of his career) on the third drive at then-No. 1 Clemson (Aug. 29) in the season opener … Tallied a career-high two tackles at Duke (Oct. 12) … Recorded his second fumble recovery to start the second quarter at Pitt (Nov. 2) … Grabbed his second fumble recovery in the second quarter against then-No. 4 Georgia (Nov. 30) before also recording an 8-yard sack in the final drive of the first half to keep UGA out of the redzone.
2018 (True Freshman): Redshirted due to only seeing action in four games, the first four contests of the year vs. Alcorn State (Sept. 1), at USF (Sept. 8), at Pitt (Sept. 15) and vs. Clemson (Sept. 22) … Recorded one tackle at USF … Was one of 13 true freshmen to see game action for the Yellow Jackets.
