Georgia Tech will open the 2024 football season against Florida State in Dublin, Ireland, in the Aer Lingus College Football Classic. The game, which will be the ACC opener for both schools, will be held Aug. 24, 2024, at Aviva Stadium. Georgia Tech, which is making its second appearance in the Aer Lingus Classic, downed Boston College, 17-14, in the 2016 version in Dublin.

The NCAA permits student-athletes to earn compensation from use of their name, image and likeness (NIL). This opened the door for student-athletes to pursue opportunities for compensation for activities like signing autographs, personal appearances, social media promotion, camps, private lessons, licensed items and more with individuals or companies.

NIL opportunities for student-athletes are an important element for success in the current landscape of intercollegiate athletics.
