2022-23 (freshman at Texas Tech)
Played in all 32 games during his first season at Tech with three starts … Averaged 3.4 points, 1.8 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 0.9 steals for the season … Had a career-high 13 points and five steals in a win over No. 13 Kansas State at home on Feb. 11 … Was 4-for-7 from the field with two 3-pointers in the 13-point performance where he also had two steals … Scored in double figures in two games during the season after also having 12 points against Nicholls in non-conference play where he was 12-for-17 from the free-throw line … Made his first career start against Oklahoma on January 7 and finished with six points and six rebounds … Washington had eight points in the regular-season finale against Oklahoma State and finished the Big 12 schedule averaging 3.1 points per conference game … Recorded a career-high seven rebounds in wins over Nicholls and Louisville … He had three games with five assists (Nicholls, at Baylor, and OSU) and finished third on the team in total assists (57) and total steals (29) … Finished the season shooting 34-for-80 (42.5 percent) with seven 3-pointers.
