General

Wing player with good size and shooting ability . . . One of five left-handed shooters on the squad . . . Always a threat from the three-point area, a good free throw shooter, with the ability to mix it up on the boards when needed . . . Decided to transfer following his sophomore season.

2001-02

Playing time diminished over the latter half of the season, but provided valuable minutes nonetheless . . . Hit three treys and scored 11 points in Tech?s win at Clemson, and knocked down his only attempt Mar. 2 at Florida State when the Seminoles had erased all but one point of a 16-point Tech lead.

Scored a season-high 17 points against North Carolina (4-for-8 three-pointers) and IUPUI (6-for-11 field goals) in December . . . Had eight double-figure scoring efforts on the season, including four in a row in December against Davidson, Wofford, Tulane and IUPUI . . . Struggled with his three-point shooting in January but is currently at 36.6 percent . . . Scored nine points in Tech?s win at Saint Louis, hitting three key three-pointers in the second half . . . Is 5-of-11 from behind the arc since then.

Other double-figure efforts came against Florida A&M (14) in the season opener and Georgia (10) on Dec. 9 . . . Has seven games with five or more rebounds, including a season high of nine against Cornell.

2000-01

Tech?s top scorer off the bench, averaging 6.8 points per game, along with 2.4 rebounds . . . Better in ACC games at 7.6 points per game . . . Shot better than 40 percent from three-point range in conference games . . . Named ACC Rookie of the Week three times during the season.

Turned in his best games against some of Tech?s toughest opponents, including 23 points against Kentucky, 21 against Wake Forest, 17 against Clemson, 15 against Virginia and 11 versus North Carolina . . . Averaged 15.3 points in Tech?s three wins over Top 10 teams (Virginia twice, Wake Forest) . . . Averaged 11.1 points in Tech?s eight ACC wins.

In 17 minutes against Kentucky, he hit nine of 13 attempts from the field, including 4-for-7 from three-point range, to lead all scorers in the Jackets[apos] 86-84 win . . . Earned the ACC?s Rookie of the Week award for that performance.

Named ACC Rookie of the Week for the second time after helping Tech to back-to-back upsets over Top 10 teams Virginia and Wake Forest, averaging 15.5 points and hit 11 of 15 field goals (73 percent) in the two contests . . . Ignited Tech against the Demon Deacons with a game-high 21 points, including 17 in the second half, as he hit seven-of-10 shots from the field, including 4-5 three-pointers . . . Hit three treys in a two-minute span in the second half . . . Had 10 points in 16 minutes in Tech?s win at Virginia, hitting four of five shots from the field, including 2-for-3 on three-pointers . . . His second trey, with 3:10 to play, gave the Jackets a 66-65 lead they would not relinquish.

Earned his third ACC Rookie of the Week award after scoring 15 points in Tech?s home victory over sixth-ranked Virginia . . . Hit six of 10 shots from the field against the Cavaliers and scored nine of his 15 points in the second half . . . Scored seven straight points in the final four minutes, including a jumper that gave Tech the lead for good at 55-54 with 2:34 to play and then a three-pointer that put the Jackets ahead 58-54 with 1:16 left.

Added 13 points in Tech?s win over NC State . . . In a key stretch early in the second half, he completed a three-point play that tied the score at 35-35 with 16:57 to play; two minutes later he hit a pair of free throws that gave Tech the lead for good and then fed Alvin Jones for a layup and a four-point lead as the Jackets began to pull away . . . Scored five points in Tech?s quarterfinal win over Virginia in the ACC Tournament.
