THE FLATS – The Georgia Tech softball team released its 2017 promotions schedule on Thursday for its 33 home games at Mewborn Field. Every Sunday is Fun Day where kids aged 12 and under can run the bases, and half of the team will sign autographs behind the third base dugout and half will be available for photos with the players rotating each game.
New for 2017 is Lace Up 4 Pediatric Cancer on Saturday, Feb. 18 where the team will honor Hayden Hudgens, a little girl battling Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. The Georgia Tech softball team will be selling gear at the Feb. 18 games with the proceeds benefitting Hayden’s family.
The softball team will sell Georgia Tech softball gear at all games, weather permitting and accepting cash and checks.
