Shosho & Schnugg Selected for NCAA Individual Championship

ATLANTA – Scott Schnugg and Lyndsay Shosho have been selected to the NCAA Individual Championship, to be held following the completion of the team championships from May 24-29. Shosho, a sophomore, will be making her first appearance in the NCAA Singles Championship and will compete in Athens, Ga. Schnugg, a senior from Medford, Oreg., will also be making his first appearance and travels to Tulsa, Okla. for the competition.

The Yellow Jackets women’s tennis team will be competing in their fifth consecutive NCAA Regional and the men will be participating in their fourth straight. Both players have competed at the top of their respective lineups all season, with Shosho posting a dual-match record of 9-12 while standing 17-18 overall, and Schnugg compiling a 16-6 record in dual matches and 25-10 overall record leading into the NCAA Regional. Schnugg is currently ranked 53rd in the nation, according to the ITA, while Shosho stands ranked 67th.
