GREENSBORO, N.C. – A total of seven Georgia Tech student-athletes have been named to the All-Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Swimming & Diving teams as announced Thursday by league Commissioner John D. Swofford.
Senior Stephanie England as well as sophomores Agatha Kwasnik and Hannah Krimm were on the women’s team while juniors Mickey Malul, Andy Miller and Mauricio Sousa as well as freshman Jacob Tzegaegbe comprised Tech’s representatives on the men’s team.
“They have shown such outstanding character in proving that they are very driven in their quest to be the best in the pool and in the classroom,” head coach Stu Wilson said. “We take a lot of pride in this and I am proud of what they were able to accomplish.”
To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during her academic career.
