The ACC named Georgia Tech’s Jose Alvarado its men’s basketball player of the week after the senior guard Alvarado led the Yellow Jackets to victories over North Carolina and Wake Forest with 22.5 points per game, 4.5 assists per game, 5.5 rebounds per game. Where he really shined though was in the second halves, where he averaged 16.5 points per game.
