Started all 13 games at wide receiver… ranked 10th in the ACC and 79th nationally in receiving yards per game (63.08)… had four rushing attempts for 29 yards… led the team in receptions (28)… averaged 29.3 yards per reception, which was more than any player in college football… five of his 28 receptions were for touchdowns… had one kickoff return for 28 yards… had 15 receptions of 20 yards or longer, nine of 40 yards or longer and three of 70 yards or longer… began the season with a bang… caught four passes for 181 yards and two touchdowns in the season opener vs. Western Carolina (Sept. 1)… followed that up the next week with three receptions for 126 yards and a touchdown at Middle Tennessee State (Sept. 10)… caught six passes for 151 yards – including one of the best catches in college football in 2011 – against North Carolina (Sept. 24)… had one TD reception against the Tar Heels… had two receptions for 50 yards in the win over Maryland (Oct. 8)… caught two passes for 47 yards in the win over Clemson (Oct. 29)… had just one reception – for 56 yards – at Duke (Nov. 19)… hauled in three passes for 78 yards vs. Georgia (Nov. 26)… caught two passes for 35 yards including one TD reception vs. Utah (Dec. 31).

2010 (Sophomore): Played in 12 games and started nine times… led the Yellow Jackets in receptions (15), receiving yards (291), yards per reception (19.4) and touchdown receptions (3)… also had three rushing attempts for 34 yards… had three receptions for 51 yards, including a 40-yard touchdown pass from Joshua Nesbitt on 3rd and 12 at Kansas (Sept. 11)… had a rushing attempt for 16 yards and one 14-yard reception at North Carolina (Sept. 18)… hauled in two receptions for 53 yards in the win over Virginia (Oct. 9)… caught a 26-yard TD pass from Nesbitt vs. Middle Tennessee State (Oct. 16)… recorded a 79-yard touchdown reception on a pass from Tevin Washington in the win over Duke (Nov. 20).

2009 (Freshman)
Showed outstanding potential as a rookie… played in 13 games and started one game… had six receptions for 137 yards (22.8 yards per reception) and one touchdown… had five rushing attempts for 84 yards (16.8 ypa) and one touchdown… had a 26- yard rushing attempt vs. Georgia (Nov. 28)… caught his first career-touchdown pass – a 32-yard strike from Joshua Nesbitt — at Duke (Nov. 14)… missed the Vanderbilt game (Oct. 31) because of flu-like symptoms… rushed one time for 21 yards against Wake Forest (Nov. 7)… had a 14-yard rushing attempt in the win over Virginia Tech (Oct. 17)…. ran for his first career touchdown on a 24-yard end around and made a 53-yard pass reception at Mississippi State (Oct. 3)… made first career start vs. North Carolina (Sept. 26) and responded with two receptions for 38 yards, including one for 33 yards.

High School
Miller Grove High School… AJC and GHSA 4A honorable mention all-state… ranked #23 for his position by Scout, #99 by Rivals and #92 by ESPN… in 2008, had 30 receptions for 577 yards and 8 touchdowns on a team that went 3-7… also had touchdowns on a 95-yard kickoff return and a 68-yard fumble return… was a standout at the Under Armour/Scout.com Combine in Atlanta in June, 2008 where he ran a 4.4 in the 40… had 24 receptions for 500 yards with eight touchdowns in 2007… played for coach Jasper Jewell, earning three letters in football as a receiver and kick and punt returner… team MVP and earned all-region honors in 2008… also played basketball and ran track… set the state record in the long jump (25 feet, 8 and 3/4 inches)… high school classmate of Yellow Jacket basketball signee Mfon Udofia.

Chose Georgia Tech because of the academics, athletics and it is close to home… received numerous offers from other schools.. full name is Stephen Trevon Hill… son of Henry and Karen Hill… has one sibling, Kayla… born April 25, 1991 in Tucker, Ga… comes from an athletic family… father, Henry, played basketball at Lake City College… has three cousins who played college sports… as a high school senior he broke the state long jump record of 25 feet, 8 3/4 inches… the previous record of 25[apos]6[quote] was held by Christian Taylor, who won the NCAA Indoor NCAA championship in the long jump in 2008… Hill[apos]s long jump would have won the 2009 ACC Outdoor Championship by 2.75 inches and he would have placed tied for ninth at the most recent Olympic games… a sociology major.
