2019 Track:
Indoor: Competed at five meets… set a 60m PR in the prelim round with a time of 6.83 and finished fifth in the final round with a time of 6.88 at the Clemson Bob Pollock Invitational… also competed in the 200m, finishing seventh with a time of 21.77… set a 200m PR with a time of 21.76 at the Clemson Tiger Paw Invitational. Outdoor: Competed at seven meets… set two personal bests at the Torrin Lawrence Memorial, finishing second in the 100m (10.46) and third in the 200m (21.04)… also helped the 4×100 group finish first with a time of 40.17… won the 100m with a time of 10.58 and finished second in the 200m with a time of 21.48 at the Georgia Tech Invitational… posted top-five finishes at the Tiger Track Classic in the 100m (10.54) and 200m (21.28).
2018 Track:
Indoor: Set a PR in the 60m dash this season, running a 7.00 at the ACC Championships to finish 26th overall … turned in a team- and season-best in the 200m at the ACC Championships, running a 21.81 to finish 18th. Outdoor: Posted a new PR in the 100m, running a team-best 10.66 to finish sixth at the North Florida Invitational … ran a faster 10.60 at the ACC Championships to finish 10th, but was wind-aided (2.3) … also recorded a new PR in the 200m, running a 21.30 to take gold at the North Florida Invite … also finished fifth in the 200m (21.93) at the Spec Towns Invitational … helped lead the 4×100 relay group to a third-place finish (40.67) at UNF Invite.
2017 Track:
Outdoor: Turned in a personal-best time of 10.75 in the 100m dash at the Torrin Lawrence Memorial … also ran a 10.77 in the 100m dash at the Tom Jones Memorial … recorded a career-best time of 21.78 in the 200m dash at the Georgia Tech Invitational … also ran a time of 21.81 in the 200m dash at the Torrin Lawrence Memorial.
High School: Attended Rufus King High School in Milwaukee, Wisc. … a four-year letterwinner in track and field as a sprinter … named 2015 state champion in 100m and 200m events … also a three-time city conference champion in 200m and a two-time city conference champion in 100m … named all-state in 100m and 200m in 2015 after earning all-state in 100m in 2014 … was a five-time USATF Youth All-American in 100m and 200m … medaled in top 3 at AAU nationals at the age of 12.
Personal: Intends to major in business … chose Tech because of Institute’s academics and the track and field/cross country program … enjoys fishing and karate in his spare time.
