Four-year letterwinner and two-year captain at Tampa Prep where he averaged 6.4 points, 3.4 rebounds and 3.7 assists in his senior year as a teammate to current Tech teammate Josh Heath … Helped Tampa Prep to the 2012 3A state championship (27-3 record), three regional titles and four district crowns, and a 110-13 record over four years … Also was a sprinter for two years on the track team, where he achieved success on the regional level in the 100 and 200 meters.
