2020 Indoor:
Competed at two meets… Set a PR in the 400m at the 2020 Clemson Bob Pollack Invitational clocking in at 50.10… Assisted in a third-place podium finish at the Bob Pollack Invite as well…
2019 Track:
Indoor: Competed at four meets… set a 400m PR with a time of 50.61 at the Vanderbilt Invitational… turned in two top-eight finishes at the Clemson Orange & Purple Elite, in the 4×400 (3:19.37) and the 400m (50.88). Outdoor: Competed at seven meets… set a PR in the 400m hurdles with a time of 53.55 at the Tiger Track Classic… helped the Yellow Jackets finish the 4×400 relay in 3:18.87 at the Georgia Tech Invitational.
2018 Track:
Indoor: ran a 23.61 in his lone 200m of the season at the Bob Pollock Invitational … ran a season-best time of 51.01 in the 400m to finish 29th in the Bob Pollock … also turned in a 600m time of 1:26.48 at the Orange & Purple Invite to finish 12th. Outdoor: the men’s standout 400m hurdler, turned a season-best time of 53.63 to finish 13th at the ACC Championships as a freshman … finished second (53.71) at the North Florida Invitational … finished third at the Spec Towns Invite with a time of 54.59 … also helped the 4x400m relay group to a third-place finish (3:16.18) at the Georgia Tech Invitational.
High School: Attended West Essex Regional High School … four-year letterwinner in track and field and lettered one year in soccer as a defender … was a hurdler, jumper, sprinter and mid-distance runner … named captain for two years … earned five state sectionals (2015, 2016 and 2016 outdoor; 2015-16 and 2016-17 indoor) … led team to Group 2 relay state title (2016) – first in school history … third-team all-Group 3 in 2017 for 400m hurdles … earned State of New Jersey track and field award … was a member of National Honor Society and Spanish National Honor Society … earned The Meghan P. Birdsall Scholarship out of high school.
Personal: Intends on majoring in psychology and to be a psychologist after college … enjoys hanging out with friends, listening to music and watching TV in his spare time… brother ran DIII track and field for Montclair State University.
