Thaddeus Young and the Indiana Pacers have been on fire lately winning, four of their last five games and six of their last 10. Young scored 14 points to go along with five steals, four assists, and five rebounds in a win of the Los Angeles Clippers. For the season, the Pacers sit in third place in the Eastern Conference with a record of 38-20.
Iman Shumpert is averaging three points and four rebounds since his debut with the Houston Rockets on February 9th. He played in 21 minutes of action in a tough loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves to go along with his three points. The Rockets currently sit in fifth place and are eight games back from first place.
Favors has averaged 11.2 points and 6.0 rebounds per game while in the month of February. For the season Favors is averaging 11 points per game to go along with 7.1 rebounds. In his last outing, he dropped 13 points to add to an already impressive night. Favors would finish the night with seven rebounds, two assists, and four blocks.
Josh Okogie helped the Timberwolves defeat the Rockets, 121-111, on Wednesday night. Okogie finished the night with 16 points, three rebounds, four assists, two steals, and one block on James Harden. Okogie was praised for his elite defense on former MVP Harden. Over Okogie’ s last 10 games he has averaged 8.1 points per game to go along with 3.3 rebounds.
Bosh announced his retirement on Monday and said he would make it official when the Miami Heat retire his jersey on March 26th. For his career, Bosh averaged 19.2 points per game, 8.5 rebounds, and 2.0 assists to pair with being an 11x All Star and two-time NBA Champion.
CBSSports.com reported before Christmas that Marcus Georges-Hunt underwent knee surgery and has remained sidelined since the surgery. Georges-Hunt had averaged 13.1 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.7 steals over 36 minutes per game in nine games for the Red Claws.
