Person Heads to Indoor NCAA Championships

ATLANTA – Georgia Tech’s Montrell Person will compete at the 2005 Indoor NCAA Track & Field Championships, Friday-Saturday, March 11-12, in Fayetteville, Ark., at the University of Arkansas.

Person, a native of Merriville, Ind., posted a season-best time of 7.77 at the Alex Wilson Invitational in South Bend, Ind., last weekend in the men’s 60-meter high hurdles, 1/100th of a second off his own school record. He won his second indoor ACC crown in as many years in the 60m hurdles at the indoor ACC Championships and will be running in his second indoor NCAA meet this season, after finishing 12th last year with a time of 7.80.

Finals at 9:20 p.m. ET*

* – Top 8 from prelims will advance to finals.
