ATLANTA – The weekly Paul Johnson Radio Show at FOX Sports Grill drew a record 115 supporters last night. Fans came out to listen and participate in the live broadcast interview which airs on 790 The Zone and selected affiliates throughout the state each week from 7 to 8 p.m. Johnson, who has stirred up a lot of buzz with Tech’s first two wins, drew a standing-room only crowd to the radio show.

In only a short period of time at Georgia Tech, Johnson has implemented a new offense and brought home two wins with expectations of more to come. As a result, there have been large turnouts for the T-Day Blue vs. White scrimmage, the home opener versus Jacksonville State and the September 10th Coaches Show at FOX Sports Grill.

“This was the best turnout we’ve had in a since I have been here,” the Voice of the Yellow Jackets, Wes Durham said. “Johnson’s experience and leadership is steering the team in the right direction, and not only are the players following, but so are the fans. The record number of patrons at the Coaches Show is an indication that our fans are excited about the future of Georgia Tech Football.”

Each week Durham interviews Head Coach Paul Johnson and gives fans the opportunity to learn first hand what is going on with Yellow Jackets football and how the team plans to approach upcoming games.

The live broadcast airs on 790 The Zone and on selected affiliates throughout the state every week from 7 to 8 p.m. Fans are encouraged to come out and participate in the live Q&A, enjoy the food and door prizes and soak up the excitement swirling around Georgia Tech Football.
