THE FLATS – No. 14 Georgia Tech volleyball (23-5, 14-4 ACC) anticipates selection to the 2021 DI Women’s Volleyball Championship following the conclusion of its regular season, with the selection show beginning at 8:30 p.m. on ESPNU. The Yellow Jackets will host a watch party open to the public beginning at 7 p.m. on Sunday in O’Keefe Gymnasium. Fans must RSVP here to attend.
The Jackets enter the postseason on the heels of a scorching weekend, sweeping both Clemson (12-18, 3-15 ACC) and Florida State (19-9, 11-7 ACC) to wrap up the regular season. After reaching the second round of the 2020 NCAA tournament a season ago, Tech’s first appearance since 2009, the White and Gold look to make back-to-back tournament appearances for the first time since advancing to the Big Dance five straight years from 2000-04.
The watch party will begin with an open practice from 7-8 p.m. An autograph session including food and refreshments for fans will directly follow from 8-8:20 p.m. The focus will next transition to the selection show, which will be broadcast through the videoboard in O’Keefe Gymnasium beginning at 8:30 p.m.
