Senior free safety Jeremy Muyres was named first-team all-Atlantic Coast Conference, and four Yellow Jackets were tabbed to the second team, announced Monday by the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association.
Wide receiver Kerry Watkins, tackle Nat Dorsey, linebacker Recardo Wimbush and placekicker Luke Manget earned second-team all-ACC honors for the Yellow Jackets. Center Hugh Reilly and return specialist Kelley Rhino received honorable mention recognition.
Muyres, from Stone Mountain, Ga., garnered first-team accolades for the first time in his career, following second-team selections the last two years. He leads Tech with five interceptions and is fourth on the team in tackles with 59.
Manget, a senior from Conyers, Ga., also was named to the all-conference team for the third time; he was a first-team selection the last two years. Dorsey, a sophomore from New Orleans, La., follows first-team honors last year, while Watkins and Wimbush are first-time selections.
