Mizuno Donates to Tech Volleyball's Dig for the Cure Weekend

Oct. 26, 2006

ATLANTA – Mizuno has joined forces with the Georgia Tech volleyball team as part of the Dig for the Cure Weekend the Yellow Jackets are participating in Oct. 27-28.

Upon finding out the Yellow Jackets would be participating in “Dig for the Cure,” an effort to raise awareness and funds to help fight the cause of Breast Cancer, Mizuno has donated a set of MX-900 irons and golf bag to be auctioned off during the weekend.

Tickets for a chance to get the golf merchandise are $5 and will be sold at Tech’s volleyball match against Duke (Oct. 27), during Wreckfest prior to the Georgia Tech-Miami football game (Oct. 28) and prior to the start of Georgia Tech’s volleyball match against Wake Forest (Oct. 28). The drawing will take place between games two and three of Tech’s match against Wake Forest Saturday evening.

All proceeds from the raffle will go to the Atlanta Chapter of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
