Miller Finishes 12th in 800 Free at U.S. Senior National Championships

IRVINE, Calif. – Sophomore Rob Miller posted a time of 8:11.51 in the men’s 800-meter freestyle to finish in 12th place at the 2005 ConocoPhillips U.S. Senior National Championships to lead Georgia Tech on Wednesday night.

Junior Alex Williams swam a time of 2:21.61 in the prelims of the 200-meter breaststroke to qualify for the finals where he finished in 22nd place with a time of 2:22.24 to lead Tech on Thursday night.

Sophomore Elizabeth Stowe clocked a time of 8:51.73 in the women’s 800-meter freestyle to log a 28th-place finish for the Jackets on Wednesday night.

Miller and Stowe will also compete in the 200- and 400-meter freestyle events for the Yellow Jackets on Friday and Saturday.
