THE FLATS – Georgia Tech men’s tennis continues the 2023 spring season with a packed week of competition. On Thursday, Tech will host Presbyterian College for a doubleheader at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. The Jackets will cap off the week with another doubleheader at home on Sunday, starting with Wofford College at 9 a.m. and then Alabama State at 2 p.m.
Last weekend, the Jackets defeated Furman 6-1 in their home opener. In doubles play, Tech went 2-1 and earned the first point of the match. Keshav Chopra/Elias Shokry and Rohan Sachdev/Brandon McKinney were the two pairs that were victorious. Tech went 5-1 in singles play with Andres Martin, Chopra, Marcus McDaniel, Robert Bauer and Shokry all defeating their opponents in two-straight sets.
All three matches will begin with doubles and singles play will commence after a five minute intermission following the conclusion of doubles.
