Five newcomers join the Georgia Tech volleyball roster in 2013 and RamblinWreck.com wraps up the five-day series with our fifth and final freshman.
Today, we focus on 6’0 middle blocker/right side hitter Annika Van Gunst. The Fayetteville, Ga., native was a four-year letterwinner at Whitewater High School. She led the team to four region championships and helped the team win two 5A state championships in 2009 and 2012. Van Gunst played in 120 games with 427 kills, 60 aces, 102.5 blocks and 298 digs in her senior season. She also played four years of soccer as a defender, and was named to the All-Area soccer team twice (2011, 2012) and selected to the 2012 All-State team. Meet Annika Van Gunst.
