McCarty Leads Jackets at NCAA Zone B Diving Championships

ATHENS, Ga. – Senior Paul McCarty finished 17th on the the one-meter springboard at the NCAA B Diving Championships on the campus of the University of Georgia to lead the Georgia Tech swimming and diving teams. McCarty posted a score of 567.65.

Sophomore Laurissa Prystaj tallied an 18th-place finish for the Yellow Jackets on the three-meter board with a score of 436.55.

In the preliminaries of the men’s one-meter diving, freshman Tony Burkhardt posted a score of 257.40 to round out competitors for the Jackets.

The championship diving meet will conclude on Sunday, March 14, with the platform diving tomorrow morning.
