Sunday began with both teams gathering at the Wildhorse Saloon, which is situated in the shadow of the stadium in downtown Nashville, for a joint brunch. The bowl hosted its partners, sponsors, teams and fans for the brunch and introduced both head coaches during a question and answer session.
Following the brunch, the Jackets had exclusive access of a nearby Dave & Busters and enjoyed the afternoon playing games, bowling and eating lunch. Tech returned to its headquarters, the Opryland Resort, for one final round of meetings and video review on Sunday night.
Sunday’s bowl festivities also included the Battle of Bands in downtown Nashville, where the bands from Georgia Tech and Ole Miss squared off in a friendly competition for each teams’ fan base.
Monday’s game kicks off at 3:15 p.m. ET (2:15 p.m. CT) and tickets are still available.
