NASHVILLE, Tenn. – It’s been little more than 24 hours since the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets touched down in Nashville to begin preparations for the 2013 Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl.

Shaking off the holiday rust, the Jackets practiced at Bobby Dodd Stadium on Friday morning, before hoping on a quick charter flight from Atlanta to the Music City. Friday night’s events in Nashville included a Welcome Reception on the General Jackson.
Tech is making its 17th consecutive bowl appearance, but is playing in the Music City Bowl for the first time. Monday’s match-up versus a 7-5 Ole Miss team kicks off at 3:15 p.m. ET (2:15 CT) on ESPN.
Saturday was an early wake up call for team meetings in the morning, followed by a brisk workout at nearby Father Ryan High School. Head coaches Paul Johnson and Hugh Freeze met the media at LP Field on Saturday afternoon. The day will wrap up with the the Yellow Jackets attending a Nashville Predators NHL hockey game on Saturday night.
