TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – On the final day of the Roberta Alison Fall Classic, Georgia Tech women’s tennis team went 3-1 in doubles and 2-1 in singles play. Freshman Rasheeda McAdoo won the Ashley Bentley Singles Draw after defeating Clemson’s Annie Lynn Miao, 6-1, 6-2.

Freshman Alexa Anton-Ohlmeyer registered a win against Tennessee’s Tiffany Tavares because of a walkover. In the finals match of the Weyli Change Singles Draw, sophomore Natasha Prokhnevska fell to Romy Koelzeer of Clemson, 2-6, 7-6 (3), 6-4.

Anton-Ohlmeyer and McAdoo recorded two-straight doubles wins this morning. The duo dropped Timea Guibe and Roseline Dion of Mississippi State, 8-5 in round two. In the third round, Anton-Ohlmeyer and McAdoo defeated Romy Koelzer and Yui Lynn Miao of Clemson, 8-4.

After falling to Nida Hamilton and Brooke Rischbieth of Northwestern, 8-2, Prokhnevska and senior Muriel Wacker bounced back with an 8-1 victory against Georgia State’s Marcia Tere-Apisah and Tarani Kamoe.
