Kimpel Closes Out Week at Phillips 66 National Championships

Results – 100 meter breast 

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket swimmer Alex Kimpel closed out his week at the 2017 Phillips 66 National Championships in the 100 meter breaststroke event on Friday morning in Indianapolis, Ind.

In his third race and three days, Kimpel finished with a time of 1:05.60 in the 100 meter breaststroke preliminaries to finish 53rd overall.

The race capped off a week in which the Tech rising senior competed in three different events, also swimming in the 200 meter breaststroke (2:21.87) on Wednesday and the 50 meter breaststroke event (30.12) on Thursday.
