THE FLATS – The Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl announced on Wednesday that the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game between Georgia Tech and Tennessee on Labor Day night at brand-new Mercedes-Benz Stadium is officially sold out. However, Georgia Tech is happy to announce that it has held back a very limited number of tickets from its allotment to the much-anticipated season opener and the only way to access those tickets are to purchase one of Georgia Tech’s few remaining full season ticket packages.
Georgia Tech sold out its original allotment of 30,000 tickets for the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game and requested 5,000 more seats in an effort to meet the great demand from its fans. Sales from the Yellow Jackets’ second allotment were also brisk, prompting Georgia Tech officials to strategically hold back a very small amount of tickets that could continue to be included in season ticket packages after the game officially sold out.
Beginning at just $300, 2017 Georgia Tech football season tickets remain a great value. Full season tickets feature seats for all seven games that the Yellow Jackets play in Atlanta in ’17, including the sold-out Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game versus Tennessee on Sept. 4 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium and the regular-season finale versus archrival Georgia on Nov. 25 at Bobby Dodd Stadium.
Flex Packs, which allow fans to purchase tickets for any three, four, five or six games at Bobby Dodd Stadium — including the Nov. 25 showdown against Georgia — and single-game tickets for the Yellow Jackets’ home contests versus Jacksonville State (Sept. 9), Pittsburgh (Sept. 23), North Carolina (Sept. 30), Wake Forest (Oct. 21) and Virginia Tech (Nov. 11) are also on sale now.
