Jackets Set To Host Men's NCAA Last Chance Meet

ATLANTA – The Georgia Tech men’s swimming and diving team will host a NCAA Last Chance Meet this Saturday, March 6, in the Georgia Tech Aquatic Center. The preliminaries of the meet will start at 10 a.m., with the finals beginning at 4 p.m. The entire meet can be followed on www.ramblinwreck.com.

Other teams competing in the meet will be Alabama, Florida Atlantic, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and Tennessee. Individuals will try and qualify for the Men’s NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships, March 25-27, in Long Island, N.Y.

The NCAA Zone B Diving Championships will be contested on Friday-Sunday, March 12-14, in Athens, Ga. Tech’s Tony Burkhardt, Paul McCarty, Laurissa Prystaj and Amy Sutton have all qualified for the meet. The top 13 men and top 12 women will advance to the NCAA Championships.
