THE FLATS – No. 13 Georgia Tech women’s tennis is set to welcome Auburn, No. 25 Kentucky and Ohio State this weekend for the ITA Kick-Off Weekend. The Yellow Jackets open the home slate on Saturday at 10 a.m. facing Ohio State.
THE SCENE: The 11th annual ITA Kick-Off Weekend takes place this weekend at 24 different Division I tennis facilities across the country. In total, 60 teams will compete per gender in the weekend events nationwide. There are 15 “regionals” played on both the men’s and women’s side, with four teams competing in each regional. The winners of the single-elimination event advance to next month’s ITA Division I National Team Indoor Championships to be played at Washington.

Saturday, Jan. 26
10 a.m. – Georgia Tech vs. Ohio State
1 p.m. – Auburn vs. Kentucky
Sunday, Jan. 27
10 a.m. – Consolation Match
1 p.m. – Championship Match
PARKING: For Saturday competition, parking for fans will be available in the McCamish Pavilion lot. On Sunday, parking will be moved to the Family Housing Deck.
