Georgia Tech, which finished in a tie for third-place in the ACC standings, is the fourth seed in this weekend’s ACC Tournament and will face fifth-seeded North Carolina Friday at 2:30 p.m. in Greensboro, N.C.
Tech concluded the regular season Saturday with a 63-60 victory over Florida State to finish the season at 22-8 overall, 9-7 in the ACC. The Jackets tied Wake Forest for third place, and the league’s tie-breaker system resulted in a coin flip between the two teams for the third and fourth seeds. Tech lost the coin flip and is seeded fourth.
The pairings for the 51st annual ACC Tournament, Mar. 11-14, at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, N.C., are as follows:

Quarterfinals, Friday 12 noon, No. 1 Duke vs. Virginia-Clemson winner 2:30 p.m., No. 4 Georgia Tech vs. No. 5 North Carolina 7 p.m., No. 2 NC State vs. No. 7 Florida State 9:30 p.m., No. 3 Wake Forest vs. No. 6 Maryland

Championship, Sunday, 1 p.m.
