ATLANTA–Seven former Georgia Tech basketball standouts are active in the National Basketball Association as the 2004-05 season gets underway.

Three former Yellow Jackets are back in Atlanta playing for the Hawks in guards Kenny Anderson and Jon Barry, who were teammates at Tech in 1990-91, and center Jason Collier, who played for the Jackets from 1998-00.

Chris Bosh, the 2003 Atlantic Coast Conference Rookie of the Year, returns for his second season in Toronto after earning NBA All-Rookie honors last season.

Three time all-ACC honoree Matt Harpring plays for the Utah Jazz. Former ACC Rookie of the Year Stephon Marbury is with the New York Knicks, while guard Travis Best is with the New Jersey Nets.
