Top Storylines
• Georgia Tech (4-2, 3-1 ACC) visits longtime rival and defending national champion Clemson (6-1, 4-1 ACC) for a pivotal Atlantic Coast Conference matchup on Saturday evening at Memorial Stadium in Clemson, S.C.

• On the heels of a 38-24 victory over Wake Forest last Saturday, Georgia Tech has won four of its last five games and stands alone in second place in the ACC Coastal Division standings, a game behind No. 8 Miami (6-0, 4-0 ACC) and a half-game ahead of No. 13 Virginia Tech (6-1, 2-1 ACC) and Virginia (5-2, 2-1 ACC).

• Clemson is coming off an open week, which proceeded its first defeat of the season, a 27-24 loss at Syracuse on Oct. 13.

• Georgia Tech and Clemson are playing for the 83rd time in a series that dates back to 1898. The teams have squared off every year since the Yellow Jackets officially joined the ACC in 1983.

• The Jackets officially own a commanding 50-29-2 advantage in the all-time series with Clemson. CU has won four of the last five matchups but Tech has won 5-of-10* games against Clemson under head coach Paul Johnson.
* includes Georgia Tech’s 39-34 win in 2009 ACC Championship Game, which was later vacated due to NCAA sanctions – Johnson’s official record vs. Clemson is 4-5.

• Georgia Tech quarterback TaQuon Marshall ran for two touchdowns in last Saturday’s win over Wake Forest and has 11 rushing touchdowns in six games this season. He is already just the third quarterback in school history to rush for double-digit touchdowns in a single season, joining Tevin Washington (2011, 2012) and Joshua Nesbitt (2009, 2010).

• The Yellow Jackets, whose only two defeats this season have both been by a single point, are averaging 34.7 points and 448.8 yards per game while allowing just 20.8 points and 313.8 yards per contest.
