AUBURN, Ala. – On day two of the 2017 NCAA Zone B Championships Georgia Tech’s Carly Doi competed in the women’s 1-meter event, while Matt Casillas, Omar Eteiba and Nolan Mallet all dived in the men’s 3-meter event on Tuesday at the James E. Martin Aquatics Center at Auburn University.
For the second straight day, Casillas advanced to the finals in the men’s event, this time in the 3-meter springboard dive. The sophomore scored a total of 345.80 points in the preliminary round and then finished the event with a score of 673.40 to place 17th overall.
Doi scored a total of 201.05 points in the women’s 1-meter prelims, while in the men’s 3-meter dive preliminaries Eteiba placed 20th with a score of 312.25 and Mallet finished 35th with his score of 223.90.
The zone championships will conclude tomorrow beginning at 10 a.m. CT. Below is the schedule for third and final day on Wednesday. Live results will be available on DiveMeets.com.
