Georgia Tech head basketball coach Paul Hewitt will host the second Paul Hewitt Golf Tournament Tuesday, Aug. 26, at Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro, Ga.
Proceeds from the golf tournament will benefit the Boys and Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta, a private, non-profit organization that strives to enhance the lives of at-risk young people through safe, productive after school programs since 1938, and the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society in memory of the late Tech basketball player, Michael Isenhour.
The schedule for the event begins with registration and practice at 10 a.m. on Aug. 26 at the Great Waters course at Reynolds Plantation. Shotgun start for golf is at 11:30 a.m. Box lunches will be provided, and a reception and auction will follow the golf tournament.
Sponsorship levels begin at $225 individual spots and $800 for foursomes, up to $5,000 for eight playing spots. Those interested in the causes but unable to play golf are encouraged to make a financial contribution to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta and/or the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society. All donations are tax deductible.
