KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Georgia Tech divers Shannon Lumbra and Ashley Hardy begin competition in the NCAA Zone B Diving Championship that begins Monday morning at the Allan Jones Aquatic Center in Knoxville, Tenn. Top finishers in each event earn berths to the NCAA Championship.
The University of Tennessee is hosting the event, and will provide live streaming video coverage and live scoring throughout the three-day event.

A freshman, Lumbra turned an impressive performance at the ACC Championships in February by scoring points in all three events. She was 12th on the 3-meter springboard (272.85), 12th on the 1-meter (276.20) and 12th on the platform (219.15).
Hardy reached the finals on the 1-meter with an impressive score of 300.25 in the prelims, then scored a 278.45 in the finals to claim an eighth place finish. The junior was 13th on the platform (217.00) and 20th on the 3-meter (250.25).
