Hannah Krimm Named ACC Performer Of The Week

Feb. 3, 2009

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Georgia Tech junior diver Hannah Krimm has been named the Atlantic Coast Conference Swimming and Diving co-Performer of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday afternoon. This is the first weekly honor of the season for Krimm, who shares the honor with North Carolina’s Rebecca Kane.

In Saturday’s senior day meet against Emory, Krimm recorded a career-high 348.97 points on the three-meter platform, the fourth-best in the ACC this season and just three points shy of a school record. She was also victorious in the one-meter event, finishing with 292.80 points.

Krimm and the Yellow Jackets will now prepare for the ACC Championships later this month in College Park, Md. The women’s championships will be Feb. 18-21, while the men’s championships will take place Feb. 25-28.
