Hamilton Selected by Tampa Bay

NEW YORK, N.Y. (Apr. 16) – Georgia Tech’s Joe Hamilton was drafted in the seventh round of the NFL Draft on Sunday, April 16 by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Hamilton joins draftees Travares Tillman (Buffalo) and Dez White (Chicago) as Yellow Jackets heading to the NFL after this weekend’s draft.

Hamilton, runner-up for the Heisman Trophy, joins Shaun King, who was taken in the second round by the Bucs last year and helped them to the NFC title game as a rookie, at the quarterback position in Tampa Bay.

Hamilton is the 234th pick overall.
