THE FLATS – The Georgia Tech volleyball team is set to hold its annual Gold/White Scrimmage on Saturday at O’Keefe Gym at 4:30 p.m. The event is open to the public and admission is free.
Posters will be available and after the scrimmage the team will sign autographs. Come check out the 2014 Yellow Jackets and the new and improved look of O’Keefe’s floor after a re-surfacing project over the summer.
Head coach enters her first year at the helm of the program and will guide a young roster with nine freshmen and sophomores through a rigorous 2014 slate that includes matches against nine 2013 NCAA Tournament participants.
The Jackets open 2014 on the road for the first three weekends and return to O’Keefe to open their home slate against in-state foe Georgia on Sept. 19 at 7 p.m.
Season tickets are now on sale for the 2014 season for just $45 for adults and $20 for youths (ages 18 and under) and seniors (ages 55 and older). Fans can order a season-ticket package online or by calling the ticket office at 404-894-5447.
