THE FLATS – The Georgia Tech volleyball team (9-10, 2-4 ACC) hosts the Pittsburgh Panthers (15-2, 3-1) Friday night for the Yellow Jackets annual Dig Pink match beginning at 7 p.m. on ESPN3. The Jackets then hit the road for a Sunday 1 p.m. match against Miami (11-6, 4-2).
The Jackets will don pink jerseys against the Panthers to raise awareness for breast cancer. The jerseys will be auctioned off beginning Friday, Oct. 17 at noon until Friday, Oct. 31 at noon. Bidding begins at $50 with $5 increments and all net proceeds benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Pink rally rags and pink shakers will be distributed at the match on a first come, first served basis.
