THE FLATS – The Georgia Tech men’s swimming and diving team were recognized by not just one, but two national top-25 polls this week, as the Yellow Jackets are off to a 2-1 dual meet record thus far to start the 2016-17 season.
The Jackets are ranked No. 17 overall in the CollegeSwimming national team rankings with 735.93 points. CLICK HERE to view the entire team rankings.
Tech also received 65 points to come in No. 19 overall in this week’s CSCAA NCAA Division I Men’s Swimming & Diving TYR Top-25 poll. CLICK HERE to view the entire poll.
Earlier this week, sophomore Rodrigo Quadros Correia was named the CollegeSwimming ACC Men’s Swimmer of the Week for his outstanding performance last weekend in the dual meet versus Notre Dame.
Both the men’s and women’s teams will be back in action at the McAuley Aquatic Center on Wednesday, Nov. 2, versus UGA at 4 p.m.
