GT Invitational Session III Recap Dec. 1, 2012
THE FLATS – Georgia Tech’s men posted a pair of NCAA `B’ cut times, and are well positioned for Saturday night’s finals as action continued at the 2012 GT Invitational as the GT Aquatic Center this morning. The men are in second place after Friday night, while the women sit fourth.

posted an B-cut time in the 100 fly this morning (47.56), and is seeded first to lead four Jackets in the Championship final. Also qualifying to the A-final are (48.26), (48.76) and (49.90).
put down an NCAA `B’ cut in the 100 breast, also will also pace four Yellow Jackets that will appear in tonight’s championship final. He was clocked in 54.91 and is seeded first, followed by (57.20), (56.59) and (56.60).
The 100 back prelims saw posted the prelim’s fastest time of 48.52, and is one of three Tech swimmers that qualified for the A-final along with Hatchett (49.34) and Nick Colletti (50.16). The 100 back B-final includes (50.90), (51.50) and Jacob Johnson (52.65).
is one of three Jackets headed to tonight’s 200 free A-final with his time of 1:40.05, and he’ll be joined by (1:40.84) and (1:41.73), while (1:41.74) and (1:43.03) swim the B-final.
Rounding out the action tonight for Tech will be (4:00.48) and (4:05.39) in the championship final of the 400 IM.
For the women, three Jackets qualified for the A-final of the 200 free, paced by prelim this morning of 1:50.43. She’ll be joined by (1:50.76) and Lexi Weber (1:50.86).
The 400 IM is set with Catherine Fore (4:32.72) and (4:26.42) in the A-final, while Jacyln Rohal (4:33.77) and (4:35.98) clinched spots in the B-final
(56.55) is headed to the A-final of the 100 fly, (1:04.18) in the 100 breast and in the 100 back (58.13) will also swim tonight’s A-finals.
The two relays being contested tonight are the 800 free relay and the 200 medley relay.
