We are looking forward to her continued improvement and contribution to our team.”
In the Yellow Jackets’ 3-1 season opening win over archrival Georgia, Campbell posted 20 kills on 30 attempts with six errors. She also had four digs and a service ace. On Sunday, Campbell slammed 13 kills in 32 attempts with only five errors. She also tallie eight digs in the 3-0 win over Georgia State. Later in the day against Furman, Campbell smashed 18 kills and added seven digs to lift the Yellow Jackets to a 3-1 victory over the Paladins and the Georgia Bulldog Invitational title. With the performance at the tournament, Campbell was named to the all-tournament team, averaging 4.36 kills per set.
This week, Campbell and Georgia Tech will continue the non-conference schedule at home in the Regency Suites/Georgia Tech Classic, hosting Arkansas, Xavier and Michigan in the three-day tournament.
