Georgia Tech Women's Tennis Signs Elizabeth Kilborn to National Letter of Intent

May 29, 2009

ATLANTA – Elizabeth Kilborn, the nation’s 22nd-ranked recruit, has committed to play tennis at Georgia Tech, head coach Bryan Shelton announced Friday.

“We are so excited for Elizabeth to join our team next season and expect great things from her in the classroom and on the tennis court,” Shelton said. “It is nice to not only draw the best talent from the Atlanta area but from the Southeast region to Georgia Tech.”

Rated as the No. 2 recruit in Georgia and No. 7 in the Southeast region, Kilborn was a standout tennis player at Walton High School in Marietta. She led her team to four straight Georgia High School State and Region Championships.
