Georgia Tech Women's Basketball Preseason Diary -- Oct. 31

Nov. 1, 2005

by Kentrina Wilson

Happy Halloween!!! We had an early start to Halloween this past Saturday. After practicing, a scrimmage, and going to the Clemson football game, we started our Halloween fun in the locker room. All of us, including three recruits, split up into teams and we competed in a word game where we had to make as many words as we could out of some Halloween words they gave us. Of course Guilette, Harp, Chey, and one of the recruits won.

After games in the locker room and eating we went to the Netherworld haunted house. For me because I am a scary person and the first haunted house I have been to, it was pretty scary. But there were some, like Jess, who wasn’t scared at all. But I don’t believe that, I know there was at least one point where everyone got scared. The scariest part was the people with chainsaws that chased you because those were real chainsaws. The best part for me was in the tunnel on the bridge because you were in this circular thing that made it seem like the bridge was tipping over. Plus that was the non-scariest part.

By the way Nov 10th is the first game… COME SUPPORT THE WOMEN’S BBALL TEAM!
