The annual GT Alumni vs. GT Varsity swim meet is scheduled for Homecoming weekend. While the football team readies itself for Army that Saturday, the swimmers will get the competitive juices flowing Friday night.
Scheduled to begin at 5:00 PM, Friday, October 19, the meet promises to be a no-hold-barred cage match in the pool. Of course, the aged Alumni will get their “requisite” handicap. It will make little difference to a jacked up GT Varsity squad.
“Old and In The Way” was a side project of the late Jerry Garcia, but in no way describes the still quite fit GT Alumni who are the perennial favorites in this match-up. However, the current GT roster boasts of 41 freshmen and sophomores who vow to show no respect to those that have gone before. The juniors and seniors on the squad are eager to slam the door on any latent hopes of victory for the Alumni.

Indicate what events you want to swim and whether or not you will attend the dinner afterwards. Please specify if you want to do any relays and what stroke you would like to do.
